Smart casual is the rule at Yona Beach Club. We cover the full dress code, what to pack, what's banned, and how to nail the aesthetic for the perfect beach club day.
Yona Beach Club enforces a strict smart casual dress code. Management reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who doesn't meet the standard — so it's worth knowing exactly what to wear before you arrive.
The Dress Code
Acceptable: Swimwear at the pool areas, resort wear, smart shorts, sundresses, cover-ups. Not acceptable: Ripped clothing, sports kit or football shirts, flip-flops in dining areas, overly revealing outfits in non-pool zones. The ethos is elevated beach resort — think Ibiza meets Phuket luxury.
What to Pack for Your Day
- Swimwear (Yona provides towels)
- A light cover-up or sarong for moving between areas
- Sunscreen (reef-safe encouraged)
- Sunglasses and a hat for the morning session
- A small waterproof pouch for your phone
- Your booking confirmation from Explera
Evening Wear for Afternoon Sessions
If you're joining the afternoon session and planning to stay for the sunset and evening DJ sets, bring a light layer for when the sea breeze picks up after 7 PM. Smart resort dresses or a stylish linen shirt over swim shorts works perfectly for this transition.
What's Not Allowed
Outside food and drinks are strictly prohibited. Weapons, drugs, and Category 5 medicines are banned. Swimming or jumping off the boat is not permitted for safety reasons. For full rules, Explera DMC includes a pre-visit briefing document with every booking confirmation at yonabeachclub.explera.co.th.
